Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-9 Receive New Tech in Mid-Year Update

The 2021 Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 have received new technology in a mid-year refresh. Here’s a breakdown of what is new on Mazda’s sport utility vehicles.
2021.5 Mazda CX-5
The Mazda CX-5 will be safer than ever before thanks to i-ACTIVESENSE active safety technologies now being standard. The new CX-5 will also feature a new 10.25-inch screen that includes a new infotainment system. Mazda announced that the Mazda Connected Services system will launch in the Fall, and will offer features such as remote engine stop/star, locking/unlocking of the doors, and vehicle health status updates.
The 2021 Mazda CX-5 also gets 19-inch wheels in the GS trim with i-ACTIV All-wheel drive. The Kuro trim is now available in black leather with red stitching.

2021.5 Mazda CX-9
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 will be offered with the new Mazda Connect infotaiment system and the new 10.25-inch screen. Mazda Connected Services will also be offered on the CX-9.
