The Honda HR-V’s cabin is designed to be utilitarian, with plenty of room for occupants and gear, as is the Mazda’s but with a crucial difference. As well as being conceived for family life, the CX-30 is luxuriously appointed and extremely human-centric. Comfort and luxury features such as a heated steering wheel power-adjustable seats are readily available in the Mazda and not offered in the Honda. Other premium touches include navy blue, rich brown and satin chrome accents that give a truly bespoke appearance to the cabin.

Furthermore, the Mazda CX-30 is loaded with the latest infotainment features and technologies. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included with the base model, and are available only in higher trims for the Honda.

The Honda HR-V is powered by a 141-horsepower 1.8-litre 4-cylinder mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard while AWD is optional.
